Starting at Picton, you bike through the west side of Prince Edward County, west to Port Hope and north to Rice Lake. Enjoy an easy ride on the Waterfront Trail along Lake Ontario through the old fashioned main streets of delightful heritage towns. Visit Brighton with the Presqu'ile Provincial Park beaches and natural areas. In Port Hope visit the Canadian Firefighters Museum or shop for antiques and collectibles on the unique mid-19th century main street.

Bike through picture perfect rolling farmland with wooded hills to naturally beautiful Rice Lake, the Alderville First Nation community and charming countryside towns. From the Trent Canal town of Campbellford you continue northeast to Tweed on Stoco Lake. The route follows the scenic K&P Trail from Verona to Kingston rejoining the Waterfront Trail for an overnight in the "limestone city" of Kingston.
